About
Me.

My name is Mollie King
Singing Teacher at KSPA

Mollie King discovered her passion for performing as a small child and by the time she was 15 she even joined as one of the very first students at KSPA!

From then she went on to play many lead roles in amateur theatre productions, such as; Anne Frank, Snow White, Sandy, Killer Queen, The Queen of Hearts, Audrey II and during her time at University she played the roles of Florence Vassy in Chess and Alice Beineke in The Addams Family Musical.

Mollie graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2018 with a 1st class (BA Hons) in Performing Arts. During her time at University she discovered her true love was for classical and opera and performed songs such as Think of Me from Phantom of the Opera and Green Finch and Linnet Bird from Sweeney Todd for her final year assessments.

Since graduating Mollie has taught both drama and singing to students aged 4 to 16. For the last 6 years she has also been performing as a solo singer for both local and private events, as well as singing each year at the Canterbury Christmas Market. She is currently working towards her dream to attend drama school in London and go on to perform on the Westend.

Mollie says “I can’t explain how lovely it was after all these years to be asked by KSPA if I would like to return to the school as a Vocal teacher! It was so wonderfully nostalgic to come back and also very surreal to now be on the teaching side of things. I am so excited and honoured to return and be able offer to students the knowledge and techniques I have gained over the years from attending schools such as KSPA. I honestly adore the school and working with the children and I am so excited to see what the future has in store. So thrilled to be a part of the team!”
