Bio - Nick Headon
Guitar Teacher KSPA
Coming from a family of musicians and teachers, it seemed inevitable that Nick would become a music teacher. He gave his first lessons at the age of 17 and engages pupils with his infectious enthusiasm and passion for music. His 15 years of gigging as a guitarist and bass player has taken him all over the UK from pubs, bars and weddings to some of the country’s best known venues and events including the 2016 Glastonbury Festival.
Nick also works as a live sound engineer and received a National Diploma (Distinction) in Music Technology in 2008. A year later, he produced the debut album of his indie rock band ‘Artist’ which sold all copies of its limited pressing on the day of release.
Nick is a big fan of reggae, indie, Americana and hip-hop music and cites Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea as the reason he fell in love with playing the bass.
